Where to order Easter takeout in Lexington, KY 2020?

Easter might look a little different this year, but that isn’t keeping Lexington, KY area restaurants from offering takeout, curbside, and heat & ready meals for the holiday.

This year, Easter falls on Sunday, April 12, 2020.

Below is a sampling of Lexington area restaurants and businesses offering takeout and delivery along with fresh meat and ready-made meals for pre-order and pick up for Easter Sunday.

Athenian Grill has an Easter Feast Special to feed 4 including a leg of lamb roasted, traditional red eggs, homemade bread, tzatziki sauce, and more for $65. Call to pre-order for pick up on Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12.

Azur is offering family style meals for Easter. Call the restaurant to order, pick up is Saturday, April 11 between 5pm and 8 pm. Your choice of rosemary garlic-rubbed and smoked leg of lamb with red wine reduction or maple-mustard glazed ham. Sides include smoked gouda scalloped potatoes; spring succotash with asparagus, peas, corn, mushroom and tomato; buttermilk-yeast rolls and a butterscotch meringue pie. Appetizers are available to add on, including pimento cheese and biscuits with bourbon peach chutney, artichoke and shrimp dip or deviled eggs.

BalanceBleu will offer traditional Easter meals as part of their weekly rotating menu of ready-to eat packaged meals. Order by Tuesday, April 7 by 8 pm for delivery on Wednesday, April 8, or by Friday, April 10 by 8pm for delivery on Saturday (delivery schedule changed to accommodate the holiday). They still have meals available for furloughed service industry folks at $3.50 each, with a limited amount available for donations.

Bayou Bluegrass Catering has your favorite dishes available to enjoy at home this year for Easter including Cajun fried turkey, honey glazed ham, smoked beef brisket, and herb baked chicken along with sides and desserts. Curbside pick up on April 11-12; different size meal options available.

Carrabba’s Italian Grill has an Easter Family Meal that serves four for $49.99. Your choice of chicken picatta or mahi wulfe with fresh bread, family-style caesar salad, penne pomodoro, sautéed broccoli and two chocolate desserts. Add four lamb chops for $19.99. Carson’s Food & Drink has heat & serve meals for you and your family this Easter. Entrées include choice of slow roasted prime rib, honey cured ham, and salmon oscar filets; each entrée includes yukon gold garlic mashed potatoes, french green beans, smoked gouda mac & cheese, garlic truffle rolls, and banana bourbon pudding. Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen is offering Family Bundles to enjoy this Easter starting at $19.99, featuring scratch-made, family-size portions of favorite entrées, side dishes and honey butter croissants. Chicken Salad Chick offers to-go options for Easter to pre-order and pick up on Saturday, April 12 for $44.99.

The Chop House is offering an Easter Sunday special featuring an oven roasted turkey with homemade stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, deviled eggs, and choice of sides like mashed potatoes, fried apples, and more. Feed 2 for $25, or feed 4 for $50. Call to place your order. A two-day notice is required.

Cracker Barrel has new family-sized Heat n’ Serve Ham Supper To-Go now available for Easter featuring cured ham, yeast rolls, and choice of two quart country sides. Serves 4-6 people, plus leftovers. Choose curbside, pick up or free delivery.

Crank & Boom created an Easter Sundae Party Pack including choice of two pints of C&B ice cream, two toppings, one sauce, and a pack of Easter sprinkles for $25. Pre-order by Thursday, April 9. Pick up on Saturday, April 11 at Summit location from 11 am until 10 pm.

Cru Food & Wine Bar lets you bring home Easter Brunch this year with three courses or a la carte options for $24. Choose from options like avocado toast, frittata, smoked salmon board, tiramisu, and more. Mimosa Kit to make 8 mimosas available for $25. Pick up on Sunday, April 12 between 11 am and 2 pm.

DaRae & Friends Catering is offering an Easter brunch or dinner for $25 per person. Extra sides and desserts also available. Curbside pickup is on Saturday, April 11 from 11 am until 1 pm. Delivery in Lexington and surrounding counties available. Call to place order.

Donut Days Bakery isn’t letting another holiday disappear without sweet treats. They will have have iced cookies, Butterflake rolls, sugar cookies, egg bon bons, cake rabbits, petit-fours with egg nests and more available for Easter.

Dupree Catering is doing Easter Dinner with Salads, Entrees, Sides, and Dessert. They offer 4-person, 6-person, or 8-person options. Orders will be available for pick-up on Saturday, April 11.

The Fresh Market has a variety of ready-made meal options for Easter including entrées, Sunday brunch, traditional sides, and bakery treats. Entrées include Standing Rib Roast, Rack of Lamb and Spiral Sliced Honey Ham.

Giuseppe’s Ristorante Italiano will take care of Easter dinner for you with a heat and serve meal. The menu includes glazed ham, turkey breast, deviled eggs, baked mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, country green beans, broccoli cheese casserole, stuffing and dinner rolls to feed 6 for $125. Good Foods Co-op will be closed on Easter Sunday, but they will have Easter favorites in their grab & go cooler to take home to heat and eat for the holiday.

Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken is offering an Easter Family Special featuring an appetizer of fried pickles or fried green tomatoes, 12 pieces of bone in chicken and 6 tenders, sides like coleslaw, beans, and mac & cheese, and pie. Ouita Michel and Tyler McNabb of Holly Hill Inn are now offering traditional Bluegrass Easter Dinner and Easter Extras to go. Choose between ham and/or lamb entrées with side dishes, salad, bread and dessert. Also available is a selection of Easter Extras like cinnamon rolls, country ham biscuits, quiche, Parker House rolls, and more. Orders will include reheating instructions. Lexington Diner offers an Easter breakfast option for pick up. Old Kentucky Chocolates temporarily closed all their retail stores, but you can still order online to ship chocolate and candy for Easter.
