Morris Book Shop hosts another Pen to Plate Dinner on August 20 at 7:30 pm. Chef Brigitte Nguyen cooks from Mastering the Art of Southern Cooking, by Nathalie Dupree and Cynthia Graubart. Each monthly 16-person dinner Pen to Plate Dinner connect diners directly with the chefs, the books, and the food.

The first ever Independent Bookstore Day features exclusive books, art prints, and Kentucky bookmarks. 400 bookstores and 16 exclusive books and art pieces will be featured. Kentucky Fried Zine Fest will bring homemade independent Bookstore Day Madlibs for your madlibbing pleasure. May 2 at 10 am at Morris Book Shop.
