The Arboretum Visitor Center hosts a Use of Urban Forests to Improve Water Quality workshop on Thursday, April 16, from 3 – 4 pm. Jesse Dahl will discuss the benefits derived from trees and the role trees play in improving water quality. He will cover the selection of tree species appropriate for Fayette County, proper tree planting, and maintenance techniques.
