Thoroughbred Classic 5K, Keeneland

The BLUEgrass Runners’ Thoroughbred Classic 5K is Thursday, November 26 at 8 a.m. at Keeneland.

“Every Thanksgiving morning, runners and walkers from across the country come to Lexington, Kentucky, to take part in the Thoroughbred Classic 5K and Kay Collins Memorial Mile. Organized by BLUEgrass Runners, the Thoroughbred Classic is a family-friendly event that benefits several local charities. Last year’s race had the largest attendance in its 30-year history, allowing BLUEgrass Runners to present thousands of dollars in donations to four local charities: The Hope Center, God’s Pantry Food Bank, Central Kentucky Radio Eye, and the Lexington Humane Society.”
