The Athens West Theatre Company presents Superior Donuts. The show runs from October 7-9, 13-16 and 20-23 at the Downtown Arts Center.
“Uptown neighborhood of Chicago. Franco Wicks, a black teenager who is his only employee, wants to change the shop for the better. Their interracial and intergenerational friendship moves in fits and starts until a crisis – and the revelation of Franco’s brilliance as a young writer – unfold.”
