Sunday Salons in September, Moveable Feast Lexington
August 28, 2014 @ 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Every Sunday in September, Moveable Feast Lexington will sponsor a gathering at a different historic, architecturally significant Lexington home with a special host to celebrate art, music, and literature. These events are being called September Sunday Salons. Each event will be uniquely styled by the individual hosts. Each Sunday program will serve up food, drink, and plenty of interaction with the arts and fine art collections.
On Sunday, September 28th, architectural glass artist Frank Close will open his 1920s Arts and Craft/Dutch Rival home and studio at Sixth Street for a yard party. On view will be his late 20th century art collection, gathered during a 20-year tenure designing in New York City. Also being presented are recent works by Lina Tharsing, and music by Chris Sullivan.
Call Moveable Feast Lexington at 859.252-2867 for ticket info, prices, and reservations. Attendance will be strictly kept at small numbers to ensure a unique experience, and space is limited. All salons will be from 2:30 pm till 5:30 pm.
