SummerFest at Woodland Park
SummerFest is Lexington’s only Outdoor Summer Theatre experience. The event started 30 years ago as The Lexington Shakespeare Festival and became SummerFest in 2007. This year, SummerFest will be bringing you the show The Wiz.
“Winner of 7 Tony Awards, including Best Musical! Based on L. Frank Baum’s, “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” this beloved Broadway musical sets Dorothy’s adventures in the Land of Oz to a dazzling, lively mixture of rock, gospel, and soul music!”
Gates Open at 7:30 pm and show begins at 8:45 pm each night
