“Join SAB’s Multicultural Affairs Committee in enjoying exciting and culturally immersive poetry readings by the Affrilachian Poets on April 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the Auditorium of the William T. Young Library. The Affrilachian Poets, a group of talented poets, was created by Danville native and UK faculty, Frank X. Walker. There will be presentation from five of the poets and they will share their colorful personal history of being a minority in the Appalachian area and how their identity has been shaped because of their ethnicity. Light refreshments, including coffee, will be served at the event.”
