Mark O’Connor, Singletary Center

The Singletary Center for the Arts Signature Series presents Mark O’Connor’s “An Appalachian Christmas” on Friday, December 11 at 7:30 p.m. at the Singletary Center for the Arts.

“A product of America’s rich aural folk tradition as well as classical music, fiddler Mark O’Connor’s creative journey has earned him eight Grammy nominations, two Grammy Awards, six consecutive years of being named Musician of the Year by the Country Music Association and seven National and Grand Master fiddling championships. Now in its fifth nationwide tour, ‘An Appalachian Christmas’ combines the familiar melodies of traditional Christmas songs with O’Connor’s musicianship.”
