Fundraiser: The Black and White Ball, The Apiary

The Bluegrass Rape Crisis Center’s signature fundraising event, The Black and White Ball, is at The Apiary at 8 pm on Saturday, September 19.
“The signature fundraising event of the Bluegrass Rape Crisis Center, the Black and White Ball, helps to provide comprehensive services to individuals impacted by sexual violence, and education to prevent violence before it happens.
The Apiary is a 15,500-square-foot gathering place for people interested in fine food, wine, and cooking, located in the Jefferson Street entertainment district of Lexington. The stunning venue was designed by renowned Kentucky designers; architect Brent Bruner, garden designer Jon Carloftis, and interior designer Matthew Carter.
This year’s Black and White Ball will feature:
Hors d’oeuvres, by Chef Cooper Vaughan, a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu culinary school (London), and his team.
A special wine tasting
Live and silent auctions
Live performances by:
All the Little Pieces, 2015 Lexington Music Award Winner
Suzie Loveday Fink, Flautist
Lee Ellen Martin, Harpist
Teri Thompson, Vocalist
