“Cleveland Ohio-based dance companies Travesty Dance Group, directed by Kim Karpanty and Antheaus Dance, Directed by Joan Meggitt, are excited to present an engaging and evocative evening of Modern Dance, theater and film entitled Taking the Fall, at the Downtwon Arts Center. Taking the Fall provides a diverse group of regional and national performers, who would not otherwise perform together a chance to share the stage. Contributing artists include Cleveland-based performers Michelle Brown, Desmond L. Davis, Marissa Glorioso, Jessica Hodges, Ashley Lain, Tanya Mucci, Shannon Sefcik, Halle Spero and Heather Koniz Young, as well as Melissa Ajayi (formerly of Lexigton’s own Blackbird Dance Theatre) and local Stephanie Harris, Dance faculty at the University of Kentucky and Executive Director of the Lexington Art League.”
