The Third Annual Alltech Craft Brews and Food Fest is back at the Lexington Convention Center from noon – 8 pm on May 21. The Fest will be even bigger this year: 50 breweries and 175 beers will showcase their craft brews. There will also be an expanded food section, including Clawdaddy’s, Noodles & Co., JDI, and Travinia Italian Kitchen.

Breweries this year include:

3 Floyds, Abita, Blue Stallion, BBC, Church Street, Deschutes, Ei8ht Ball, Founders, Goose Island, Great Lakes, Lagunitas, Left Hand Brewing Co., New Belgium, New Holland, Rooster Brew, Schlafly, Sierra Nevada, Woodchuck, West Sixth, and many more.

All breweries will once again be competing in the Commonwealth Cup: a competition headed by an international panel of expert judges that awards the best craft brew of the year. The 2015 Commonwealth Cup Winner was the Dayton Brew Co.’s Batch 100, a Belgian-style ale filtered and tank conditioned and made with candy sugar.
