Ace was founded in 1989 as a free and independent media source for Lexington’s best readers, writers, and thinkers.
Ace is Lexington’s oldest independent publication, and the “Owner’s Manual” for the city of Lexington, Kentucky and the surrounding bluegrass region, and is the go-to guide for what Lexington readers will go, see, and do in the coming weeks.
Every September, Ace also publishes the real Best of Lexington issue, the results of the annual Ace readers’ poll.
The print edition of Ace is distributed at more than 200 sites (restaurants, bars, groceries, and retail establishments) in Lexington, Fayette County.
