Kickstarter is the largest funding platform for creative projects in the world. The Blueberries need your help to assemble and professionally master a ‘best of’ CD. We self-released three records from 1992 to 1998, but never had the cash to master the disc. What we want to do is offer a lovely eco-pak disc with all kinds of info that was not on the original albums. We have gotten together and picked our favorite 18 songs from all three releases: Dinner, Museum, and The Blueberries. The first two records are out of print, so the only way to get these songs would be this disc.
Action Lab Entertainment presents “Fracture”

Formed by four independent creators with over 20 years of media experience and creator-owned content, Action Lab Entertainment’s goal is to develop, create and distribute original comic book series as well as create original animated and various forms of entertainment that challenges and competes with the media industry as a whole. The funding for this Kickstarter project will go towards printing/publishing issue #1 of Action Lab Entertainment’s Fracture, a comic-book miniseries about Lower Triton’s greatest hero (Virtue), its nastiest villain (Malice), and a run-of-the-mill guy named Jeff who all have something very important in common. They’re all the same guy — and none of them knows it…until now! Fracture is created & written By Shawn Gabborin, with artwork by Chad Cicconi & Dave Dwonch.
Mob Ties: The Board Game

Mob Ties™ is a board game of negotiation, intrigue and revenge for three to six players. During the course of the game, players assume the roles of mob bosses vying for control of a small city. Moving the members of their families between various locations on the game board, players attempt to collect cash and intimidate or work with other players’ family members to gain respect and protect their assets. We are a group of friends from Lexington, KY who decided to create a board game over three years ago. Since that time, Mob Ties has grown from a game that we played among ourselves to a fully developed product. The custom illustrations by John S. Jamtli, an artist and graphic designer in Oslo, Norway, are beautiful, violent, and completely capture the mood of the game’s setting and theme. We’ve worked hard to make a game that friends and family will love to play, again and again. One of the most important and enduring aspects of Mob Ties is that it’s very re-playable. No two games will ever be the same.
Warren Byrom: The Fabled Canelands

The Fabled Canelands is a record of most of the songs I wrote from 2005 to 2009. The title song came last, a kind of meditation on the high cost of living out of balance, after reading Alan Eckert’s Frontiersmen, and some James Lane Allen excerpted from The Reign Of Law. The song kept evolving over the next year and a half of recording, unlike the others, which knew pretty instantly what they wanted to say. I have been lucky to work with two of Lexington’s finest recording engineers: Otto Helmuth, and Tony Miller. I thank my cohorts in the Swells, along with Anna Hess, James Friley, and Fred Sexton for their inspired performances. There are eleven songs with eight or nine making the final cut. I am so excited about this record and I have gotten such a great response from everybody who has heard the roughs. The Fabled Canelands, out Jan/Feb 2011 with your help!
