You can still have a safe and special Mother’s Day this year thanks to many restaurants offering takeout, curbside pick-up, and delivery options for the holiday.
Mother’s Day falls on Sunday, May 10, 2020.
Below is a sampling of Lexington, KY area restaurants with takeout, heat & serve options, curbside pick-up, and delivery categorized by carryout and sweet treats.
Carryout For Moms
Athenian Grill has a few Mother’s Day Menu options available. All menus serve four people and include either leg of roasted lamb, herb marinated lamb chops or chicken skewers; comes with tzatziki sauce, cheese pie triangles, large Greek salad, roasted vegetables, lemon potatoes and baklava. Call or visit their website to order.
Azur Restaurant and Patio will have a special Mother’s Day Take Home Menu featuring brunch entrées, as well as appetizer platters and warm up entrées to feed four or eight. Warm up entrées come with two sides; desserts available too. Call to order for pick-up on Saturday, May 9 between 5 pm and 8 pm.
Carson’s Food & Drink has all their menus including brunch, lunch, dinner, family dinners, and Carson’s Cuts available for takeout on Mother’s Day. They are offering a special for $65 that has 4-6 servings: 2 pound Honey Cured Ham, topped with bourbon pear chutney with candied pecans, served with yukon gold garlic mashed potatoes with rosemary demi glace gravy, french green beans, smoked gouda mac & cheese, and garlic truffle rolls.
Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen is offering a selection of Mother’s Day Bundles featuring signature, scratch-made dishes to celebrate Mom. The family-size bundles start at $32.99, and options include a Salmon & Chicken Tender Bundle, Chicken Alfredo Bundle and Salmon Bundle served with a variety of sides. For an added treat, guests can order a slice of Cheesecake for $4.99 and beer, wine or cocktails to go, where permissible. Pre-order for curbside pickup from Thursday, May 7 until Sunday, May 10. Cheddar’s is offering an additional $5 for every $25 in eGift cards purchased online.
Chicken Salad Chick is celebrating mom’s with a meal filled with mini croissants, 1 large side, 2 large quick chicks, 6 flower cookies, and gallon of tea or lemonade. Available to order beginning Monday, May 4.
The Chop House has a featured entrée special for Mother’s Day including a 6 oz filet, 1/2 skewer of grilled shrimp, salad, and side. Place your order by phone.
Cru Wine Food & Wine Bar offers a Mother’s Day menu featuring a mimosa kit, starters like avocado toast and wagyu meatballs, entrées, and desserts. Pick up on Sunday, May 10 from 11 am until 2 pm.
Doodles will be open for Take Out Brunch on Mother’s Day weekend.
Dudley’s on Short is offering carryout for Mother’s Day on Friday, May 8 through Saturday, May 10. Curbside pickup on Friday & Saturday from 5 pm to 7 pm. Sunday pickup from 10 am to noon. Visit their website for menu details.
Dupree Catering is helping you show mom some love this year with their 2020 Mother’s Day Brunch. Includes your choice of sandwich bites and entrée, along with a southern kale salad, sides, and desserts to feed four, six or eight. Mother’s Day mimosas and add-on sides are also available. Finishing and reheating instructions, but no chopping or meal-prep required. Call to place an order. Pick-up on Saturday, May 9 at the Chase Bank building from 3 pm until 6 pm, or have it delivered to your door from 3 pm until 6 pm for an extra fee.
Drake’s in Brannon Crossing and Hamburg will have their regular menu available to order from for Mother’s Day.
First Watch is open again in Lexington and offering a special for Mother’s Day. Buy any entrée on Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10, and receive a free entrée gift certificate to use between June 1s and July 31, 2020. Order online for curbside carryout or delivery.
Forage Food Truck is offering a Mother’s Day Brunch to serve four to six. Featuring whole quiche, shrimp & grits, stuffed french toast, lasagna, and a la carte items. Call to place your order; orders must be submitted by Friday, May 8 at 2 pm. Free pick-up and no contact delivery available with $30 minimum in Lexington and surrounding areas on Saturday, May 9.
Fresh Market has a Mother’s Day Brunch and Dinner option. Mother’s Day Brunch for Four features your choice of quiche plus two sides, muffins and 1 seasonal bouquet. Mother’s Day Dinner for Two features your choice of entrée plus two sides, dessert and a seasonal bouquet. Available for order until May 7 at 2 pm; pick-up between May 8 and May 10.
Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken is offering a Mother’s Day special with appetizer (fried pickle or fried green tomatoes), entree (12 pieces of bone in chicken), and sides (large coleslaw and mac and cheese).
Inebriated Baker is taking orders for Mother’s Day with flavors like Lemon Drop Martini Cupcake, Champagne Mimosa Cupcake and Chocolate Wine Cherries Jubilee Cupcake. J. Render’s Southern Table & Bar offers a Mother’s Day family meal that feeds four. Smoked beef tenderloin, mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, house salad, yeast rolls, and strawberry shortcake. Call to order; delivered to your door or pick-up curbside.
Keene Dining and Events has a meal for mom to feed four for $110. Menu includes choice of two entrées, one salad, two sides and mini desserts. Order by noon on Friday, may 8 for pick-up on Sunday, May 10 from 12 pm to 6 pm. Email or call to place order.

Malone’s has a special Mother’s Day limited menu available on Mother’s Day, in addition to Butcher Shop Steak Specials including Malone’s uncooked steaks which are perfect for grilling. Pre-order Malone’s Three-Course Mother’s Day meal option featuring roasted beef tenderloin or smoked turkey, served w/ Malone’s bread, Lexingtonian salad, mac & cheese, whipped potatoes, roasted vegetables and a Missy’s key lime pie; serves 4-6. Minton’s 760 is offering Mother’s Day brunch and dinner meal packages to feed four. Brunch includes a spring vegetable quiche, baked croque monsieur, hash brown casserole, applewood smoked bacon and biscuit flight for $56. Olive Garden is helping you treat mom this year with their new Mother’s Day Family-Style Take & Bake Bundle. Bundles include a jumbo house salad w/ a bottle of signature Italian dressing, one dozen ready-to-bake breadsticks and choice of homemade Alfredo or Marinara dipping sauce. Sedona Taphouse has a special menu you can pre-order from for Mother’s Day including crab stuffed shrimp, filet mignon, scallops, and more to choose from. Place all orders by 3 pm on Saturday, May 9 and choose a pickup or delivery time for Sunday, May 10.
