Lexington Trick or Treat for 2016 is scheduled for 6 – 8 pm on Monday, October 31. The weather forecast calls for a high of 70 with no chance of precipitation.
Trick or Treat for surrounding towns including Nicholasville, Georgetown, and Winchester will also be at this time.
The Fayette Mall will host an indoor Trick or Treat for children during that time span. All children (up to age 12) must be in costume and accompanied by an adult. Adults: Please no masks.
Trick or Treat at Shaker Village: October 22, from 5 to 7 pm. Parents can bring their kids to trick-or-treat along the village road for treats and other activities. Activities include a costume contest, a hayride or spirit stroll, pumpkin painting, an obstacle course and more. There will also be live music, food and drink, and a bonfire.
Trick or Treat Storytime: at Joseph-Beth on October 29 at 11 am. Wear your Halloween costume for trick or treat during story time.
Trunk or Treat: South Elkhorn Christian Church on October 30 at 5 pm. Families are invited to dress up, deck out their trunk with decorations and goodies, bring a picnic meal and enjoy a fire pit.
Halloween MAINia Trick or Treat: All are welcome to this free, family friendly trick or treat down Main Street of Winchester on October 31 at 6 pm. Main Street will be closed to traffic from Lexington Avenue to Washington Street.
