Lecture: Marvin Heiferman, Worsham Theatre

On November 7 at 4 pm, Marvin Heiferman presents a Robert C. May Photography Endowment Lecture.

“Marvin Heiferman is a curator and writer who has organized numerous exhibitions for institutions including the New Museum, International Center for Photography, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Smithsonian Institution. He has worked with many artists including Nan Goldin, Robert Mapplethorpe, Richard Prince, Stephen Shore, John Waters, and Garry Winogrand and has contributed texts toArt in America, Artforum, Bomb Magazine, and Art News. Heiferman’s lecture will address photography’s impact on culture and everyday life, the subject of his recent book Photography Changes Everything.”
