The Bluegrass Festival Horse Show, a 6-day hunter-jumper show and a part of the Kentucky Horse Show 2014 events, will take place at the Kentucky Horse Park from August 12th to August 17th,
The Chamber Music Festival will take place at the Fasig-Tipton Pavillion from August 14th to August 24th. The festival brings together a quintet of nationally recognized musicians for three formal concerts.
The Big Maracas play at Cheapside Park for Thursday Night Live at 5 pm.
FRIDAY Aug 15, 2014
Louis Ramey is performing at Comedy Off Broadway from August 13th to August 16th. Shows start at 7:15 pm every night with additional shows on Friday and Saturday at 9:45 pm.
Picnic With Pops at Keeneland from 6 pm to 8:30 pm. This event features live orchestra music by the Lexington Philharmonic and special guest Michael Cavanaugh performing the music of Elton John. Attendees are encouraged to bring picnic dinners and beverage of their choice.
Stella Vees will be playing at Moondance Amphitheater at 7 pm as part of the Summer Nights in Suburbia concert series.
SATURDAY Aug 16, 2014
The Woodland Arts Fair will be taking place at Woodland Park on August 16th and August 17th. At the fair, you can shop 200 artists, enjoy live music and food, and create your own family art-all with free admission.
The Lexington Lexington Block Party will start at 7 pm. It will take place between Al’s Bar, the Beer Garden, and the Sidecar, and will include delicious pulled pork, chicken, sides, and kegs outside all night.
Live MMA action will be taking place in the heart of the Bluegrass, with Bluegrass Brawl 13 at Heritage Hall starting at 6:30 pm.
Catawampus Universe is playing at Cosmic Charlie’s at 10 pm on August 16th and August 17th.
Charles Dodd White will sign “A Shelter of Others” at 2 pm at the Morris Book Shop.
SUNDAY Aug 17, 2014

The Osland Dailey Jazztet will be playing at Ecton Park at 7 pm. Big Band & Jazz, one of Lexington’s longest running and most beloved concert series, features great jazz and big band music weekly.
Jeff Clair will be playing at the Southland Jamboree at 7 pm.
Harvey will be shown at the Kentucky Theatre at 1:30 pm and 7:15 pm as part of the Summer Classic Movies series.
Red Barn Radio: DryMill Road will be playing at ArtsPlace at 8 pm.
Jordan Page will be playing at the Farish Theatre at the Central Library at 6:30 pm.
