University of Kentucky student multimedia site Bluecoast Live reports that Affrilachian poet Nikky Finney is a finalist for the National Book Award for poetry.
A professor at UK, Finney was featured on the March 17 cover of Ace, in a coverstory by Bianca Spriggs, when her new book, Head Off and Split, was released.
