Restaurants can reopen on Friday, May 22 at 33% capacity inside with unlimited outdoor seating as long as customers are spaced out six feet apart.
We’ve compiled a sampling of restaurants reopening, as well as restaurants continuing to provide carry out only and a few that plan to never reopen in Lexington, Ky.

REOPENING FOR DINING
Agave & Rye is reopening on Friday, May 22 with patio and limited indoor seating.
Apollo Pizza’s locations will offer expanded covered outdoor and patio dining beginning Monday, May 25. will also continue curbside carryout and delivery.
Asuka Japanese Steak House & Sushi in Brannon Crossing is reopening on Friday, May 22.
Azur Restaurant & Patio reopens on Friday, May 22 and is now accepting reservations. Carryout and curbside will continue.
Banners will be reopening on Friday, May 22 and will also continue curbside.
bd’s Mongolian Grill will open on Friday, May 22 with limited capacity and new hours until further notice. They will still offer curbside, carryout, and delivery.
Bella Notte is reopening on Saturday, May 23, but for the first five days they will only take reservations for guests over 60. Limited reservations available. Reopens for other guests on Friday, May 29.
Blaze Pizza at the Summit is opening on Friday, May 22. Still offering curbside pickup, carry out, and delivery options through the Blaze Pizza app or third party apps (UberEats, PostMates, Doordash).
Bluegrass Bistro at the Lexington Griffin Gate Marriott Resort and Spa to open on Friday, May 22. They will offer dinner and brunch on Sundays. Reservations are required.
The Blue Heron Steakhouse is reopening with additional patio seating on Friday, May 22.
Blue Sushi in The Summit reopens for dine-on on Friday, May 22. Open for carry out and curbside on Thursday, May 21.
Boone Tavern plans to re-open for limited in house dining on Friday, May 22.
Bourbon on Rye is reopening on Thursday night/Friday, May 22 morning at 12:01 am.
Bronte Bistro reopens on Friday, May 22. Curbside pickup will be available for carryout orders.
Bru Burger will reopen on Friday, May 22 to offer inside & outside seating as well as continue their safe carry out and curbside pickup service.
Buddha Lounge will open for dine-in on Friday, May 22 with continued curbside carry out and delivery service as well.
Campestre Mexican Bar & Grill will reopen its dining room for indoor and patio seating on Friday, May 22. Delivery and curbside carryout orders will continue as well.
Carson’s Food & Drink will be opening on Friday, May 22 with indoor and patio dining. They are only taking reservations at this time. Curbside takeout will continue.
The Cellar Bar & Grille will reopen and continue offering curbside with a soft opening and reservations to test the water.
Centro is reopening on Friday, May 22 offering outdoor consumption only, deli sandwiches, and take out with temporary hours.
Charlie Brown’s Restaurant will reopen on Friday, May 22. Seating will be limited and first come first serve.
Chuy’s on Nicholasville Rd and Hamburg will both be reopening the dining room on Tuesday, May 26.
Coles 735 Main is reopening their dining rooms on Friday, June 5 and offering curbside again on Friday, May 29.
Columbia’s Steakhouse Downtown is reopening on Friday, May 22.
Country Boy Brewing will reopen both their taprooms on Monday, June 8.
CRU Food & Wine Bar is reopening for patio and indoor dining on Friday, May 22. Reservations through OpenTable are recommended. Carryout will continue.
Distilled, Heirloom, and Mezzo will reopen on Friday, May 22.
Double Dogs in Hamburg has reopened for dine-in and offers a dog friendly patio.
Double H BBQ will open their dining room on Friday, May 22 to 33% dine in capacity (although weather permitting, they will have some new outdoor seating). Continue to offer carryout and call in orders.
Drake’s locations in Hamburg, Lansdowne and Nicholasville will reopen their dining rooms on Friday, May 22.
Dudley’s will reopen on Friday, May 22 with rooftop and sidewalk seating.
DV8 Kitchen will reopen on Tuesday, May 26.
El Cid is opening to 33% capacity on Friday, May 22 with additional outdoor seating.
Epping’s on Eastside will reopen their dining rooms on Friday, June 5. Curbside will begin on Friday, May 29. Weekend brunch and family meals available.
First Watch locations will reopen their dining rooms on Friday, May 22 with indoor & outdoor seating available. Order online for carry out or delivery is still available.
The Garage is reopening on Friday, May 22 with outdoor consumption only. Deli sandwiches & hot dogs, food truck events, 21 & Up only, no children permitted.
Giuseppe’s will open inside and patio seating on June 13, but will continue carry out until then.
Goodfella’s Pizzeria in Distillery District will reopen their dining room and outdoor seating.
Good Foods Cafe reopens on Friday, May 22. Curbside pickup still available.
Graze Woodlands will reopen on Friday, May 22 for limited seating dine in service. Reservation only and four seating times available (5:30, 5:45, 7;30, 7:45).
Great Bagel & Bakery on Boston Rd will reopen their dining room with expanded covered outdoor seating as well on Friday, May 22. Pickup and delivery will continue.
The Grey Goose will reopen on Friday, May 22. Grab a reservation on OpenTable or call to reserve a table. Dinner only at first, seven days a week.
Grimaldi’s Pizzeria in Lexington is open for dine-in, takeout and delivery with a new, seasonal menu launching in June.
Infinity: A Skybar & Cafe is opening back up on Friday, May 22 for lunch, dinner, and handcrafted cocktails.
Jeff Ruby’s will reopen for dine-in services beginning Wednesday, June 3. Curbside takeout that will
feature nearly the entire menu will also be available.
J. Gumbo’s will be open on Friday, May 22 with very limited seating outside in the front of the restaurant and patio. They will continue to do curbside, delivery and walk-up along with the limited outdoor seating.
Joe Bologna’s Restaurant plans to open their doors on Friday, May 22.
J. Render’s is reopening on Friday, May 22, but be sure to call the restaurant first to reserve a table.
Josie’s will reopen in June.
The Kentucky Castle will be reopening on Friday, May 22, and will also offer curbside and weekend family meal options.
La Petite Delicat will reopen on Friday, May 22 and will continue offering curbside, shipping and free delivery within 5 miles. Macaron classes will not be offered for the time being.
LaRosa’s on Richmond Road will reopen their dining room. Convenient curbside carry out and no contact delivery are also available.
Le Deauville will reopen on Tuesday, May 26 at 33% and will still do curbside and delivery.
Lexington Diner will reopen their dining room and patio service for reservations on Wednesday, May 27. Curbside and carryout will continue.
Lockbox is reopening for dinner service starting on Monday, July 6 and brunch service will resume on Saturday, July 18. They will be offering carry out/curbside for dinner (menu is the same as dining in). Call to place order with online ordering to come soon. Menus can be found on their website.
All Malone’s locations and OBC Kitchen will open for dine-in on Friday, May 22 with continued curbside carryout.
Maria’s Kitchen is open for dine in with limited seating and outdoor seating available. Guests are welcome to call and make reservations.
Marikka’s will reopen for dine in on Friday, May 22 with 33% capacity dining in the restaurant and Bier Stube along with ample seating on both patios. Carry out and curbside also available.
Martine’s Pastries reopened their doors for access to their upstairs dine in and patio dining while continuing takeout, contactless curbside pick up and scheduled deliveries.
Merrick Inn Restaurant will reopen on Tuesday, May 26. Reservations only at this time. Curbside available.
Minglewood will be reopening with walk in seating throughout the week and reservation seating on the weekends. They have a patio.
Mi Pequeña Hacienda reopens both locations on Friday, May 22.
Minton’s will open the deck seating and a few tables. Carry out and delivery will continue.
Mirror Twin Brewing Co is reopening on Friday, May 22.
Mr Brews Taphouse will be open with partial indoor seating and expanded patio service. Curbside, to go and delivery will continue.
North Lime Coffee & Donuts is open to walk-in orders beginning June 3 with guidelines at their downtown location.
Oscar Diggs will reopen with expanded outside seating. Curbside and carryout still available.
Palmers Fresh Grill reopens on Friday, May 22 for patio dining and indoor seating. Curbside and delivery also available.
Papi’s plans to open on Friday, May 22 with an operating capacity of 33%.
PF Changs is opening for dine-in in June at 33% capacity with full patio range. Takeaway, curbside, and delivery will continue.
PieTana will fully reopen their patio and yard, but will hold off on opening their dining room until they’re able to let more than seven people in at a time.
Portofino will be opening on Friday, May 22 with patio seating. Reservations strongly suggested due to limited seating.
Proud Mary BBQ will be opening on Friday, May 22 with live music on Friday, Saturday, & Sunday. They have 3 massive patios & some indoor seating.
Ramsey’s will reopen for dine in drive through available at Zandale on Friday, May 22. Harrodsburg Road dining room and patio will open Monday, May 25. Andover dining room and patio will open Friday, May 29. Tates Creek dine-in coming soon, but curbside continues.
Red Lobster in Hamburg and near Nicholasville Rd are opening on Friday, May 22. Reservation not required. Curbside will continue.
Rolling Oven is reopening inside Mirror Twin on Friday, May 22. Curbside takeout or delivery (within 3 miles) still available.
Saul Good near Fayette Mall reopens on Wedensday, June 3
Sedona Taphouse plans to reopen with both dining room and patio service.
Selma’s Catering and Events inside The Ginkgo Tree Café (at Ashland, Henry Clay Estate) opens on Friday, May 22.
School Sushi will reopen their dining room on Friday, May 22 at 5 pm. Curbside service is also available.
Both Shamrock locations will reopen and continue with curbside. There will be a soft opening and reservations to test the waters.
Skyline Chili will reopen their dining room on Friday, May 22. The drive-thru is still open, now delivering with DoorDash.
Smashing Tomato‘s dining room & patio are now open.
The Southern Deli & Tavern is opening Friday, May 22 with a patio and sidewalk seating.
The Stave will be opening the patio for full service, socially distanced dining on Friday, May 22. No inside dining yet. Their creek side tree house will be open for socially distanced, picnic style dining. There will be a bar at the tree house for ordering food and beverage. Take out operations will continue from the window at the patio.
Sutton’s will reopen for dine-in and patio service on Friday, May 22. Curbside carry out and delivery too. There are 2 patios: 1 covered and 1 uncovered.
Taziki’s Mediterranean Grill on Southland will only be offering outdoor patio seating for dining. They will continue offering curbside and carry out.
Ted’s Montana Grill is open for dine-in on Friday, May 22.
Texas Roadhouse in Beaumont Centre will be opening for dine-in Monday, May 25 with a tent and outdoor seating available. Curbside will cease, but to go orders will continue with a new walk up window to grab and pay once you are notified your order is ready.
Tilted Kilt is reopening on Friday, May 22 at the mandated partial capacity, and will be adding additional seating over and above their indoor and outdoor patios.
Tony’s is reopening on Friday, May 22.
Vinaigrette Salad Kitchen his reopening their dining rooms and patios on Friday, May 22.⠀Delivery, online ordering, and curbside pickup will still be available.
Wild Eggs in Hamburg and Palomar is reopening on Friday, May 22.
Winchell’s Restaurant and Bar is reopening on Tuesday, May 26 with limited hours of service. Reservations are recommended and no bar seating is allowed. Carry out and curbside service is still available.
Windy Corner is reopening on Friday, June 5 with limited hours. To start, only curbside pick up will be available, but guests are welcome to enjoy to-go order at the restaurant’s picnic tables.
World of Beer reopens on Friday, May 22 to offer dine-in, patio seating and carryout.
CARRY OUT ONLY
Bazaar Eatery is continuing take out orders.
Bear & The Butcher will not be opening for table service yet, but will continue to provide curbside, takeout, and delivery.
Blue Door Smokehouse will stick to carry out for the time being.
Blue Stallion Brewing Company will continue to provide to-go and curbside ordering, but will wait to reopen regular service in a few weeks.
Bourbon N’ Toulouse will not allow customers inside until they feel they can do it safely in their small dining room. They will continue offering curbside and delivery which can be ordered online.
Chocolate Holler is serving you at the front door or at your car.
Corto Lima will not be opening to the public on May 22 but will continue our service in the curbside pickup model.
County Club will reopen on Wednesday, June 3 to resume take out on Wednesday through Saturday with limited hours.
Donut Days Bakery will not be opening their in-person dining area, but will continue their drive-thru service.
East End Tap and Table will not reopen for inside dining, but will have newly added patio seating available, in addition to a window open for walk-up orders. Curbside and online ordering will still be available.
girlsgirlsgirls burritos will reopen for patio seating on Friday, May 22. They will continue to offer their take-out window service, curb-side pickup, and free bicycle delivery. They are a walk-up & order joint rather than table service…they plan to reopen that carefully.
Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken is offering carry out only, but their patio is open for customers to eat food picked up via carry out.
Han Woo Ri is reopening their dining room on August 1, but is open now for takeout only.
Holly Hill Inn will only do online ordering for curbside pickup at this time. No indoor dining yet, but you can take your curbside order to a table on the Holly Hill front porch or out in the yard as space is available. You may tailgate at your car or sit out under the trees. You may step inside the restaurant side door to use the restroom, one person at a time with a mask.
Honeywood reopens on Friday, May 29 with a limited menu and curbside pickup. Patio tables and chairs will be cleaned and spread out to socially distance if you wish to utilize them, but there will be no table service.
The Ketch Seafood and Grill will do curbside carry out on Friday, May 22 and Saturday, May 23 with hopes to open the patio soon.
LaRosa’s on Southland will continue offering their drive thru pick up window and no contact delivery.
Luke’s Coffee will remain open for curbside only.
Lynagh’s is offering curbside food and drinks Thursday through Saturday.
Manchester Coffee Co will continue carry out and curbside service.
North Lime Coffee & Donuts at their Clays Mill location will remain closed to in-person traffic, but will continue their curbside service.
Parkette Drive-In will wait to reopen their Retro 50’s Dining Rooms, but their curbside service will continue.
Pearl’s will reopen on Wednesday, June 3 for take out only with limited hours on Wednesday through Saturday.
Ranada’s Bistro & Bar will wait to reopen but continue to focus on family meals, curbside to go and in house delivery.
The Sage Rabbit will be continuing patio take out and will add open seating on the patio if you wish to stay and eat. There will be no table service or indoor dining.
Sav’s will be open for take out and delivery.
Sidebar will focus on ‘to go’ meals, but expand the outdoor seating so you can sit & eat outside starting on Friday, May 22. No in store dining for the time being.
Sorella Gelateria will stay curbside for the time being.
Wallace Station will allow outdoor seating. Guests can continue to order online or call for curbside delivery. Enjoy your meal at one of their spread-out tables or on their lawn.
West Sixth Brewing will not be reopening their taprooms on Friday, May 22, but will continue curbside pickup.
Wine+Market will continue to be takeout. Call and place your lunch order.
Zim’s Cafe will allow carryout and outdoor seating. Guests can continue to order online or call their order in for curbside delivery then take their meal to the lawn or outdoor table.

Bar Louie in Fayette Mall has closed.
The Barn at The Summit will not reopen.
Denny’s on Nicholasville Road has closed.
Gather on Main will not reopen.
George’s Grocery and Deli on North Limestone closed its store and full-service deli.
Locals’ Craft Food & Drink on National Avenue is closing for good.
Logan’s Roadhouse located near Fayette Mall is closed permanently.
Nick Ryan’s on Jefferson will not be reopening at all.
Shakespeare & Co. has closed.
Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe in Hamburg has closed.
TGI Friday’s in Hamburg has closed.
