Coba Cocina on Richmond Road closed down abruptly on April 26.
A press release shared by the business stated, “After 3 years of serving guests under the golden dome, Coba is ceasing operations. This is an incredibly difficult decision to make. Our team will continue to explore different possibilities for Coba.”
Coba Cocina gift cards with a balance remaining on them will be accepted at Cheddar’s and Willie’s Locally Known in Lexington.
Chef Jonathan Lundy will move on to his next project: upscale catering business Jonathan’s Events. Jonathan’s Events will host esteemed guests and seasonally rare ingredients as they bring their customizable pop-up catering operation for weddings, receptions, tastings, and more.
