UK continued their undefeated season with a comfortable 70-55 win over Alabama.
The Cats led by double digits most of the game as Karl-Anthony Towns and Willie Caulie-Stein dominated the rim and Devin Booker marauded the perimeter. The trio all scored double-digit points, as did Andrew Harrison.
UK now has a 21-0 record and remains the only undefeated team in college basketball.
It wasn’t a perfect performance. The Cats settled for some questionable attempts from beyond the arc and were outrebounded 26-21. In addition, Towns fouled out, although UK’s bench is too deep for this to have made an impact.
Nonetheless, it was a solid performance, as UK was in full control most of the match; their lead never seemed beyond doubt. The Cats fought hard from the first minute to the last, hustling despite the lead.
UK host a dangerous Georgia team at Rupp Arena on Tuesday.
