Kentucky’s new statewide literacy project — Isaac Murphy: Everybody Reads — will coincide with the 2010 World Equestrian Games.
Kentucky author and UK professor Frank X Walker has written a poetry collection, I Dedicate this Ride, in celebration of the famous jockey Isaac Murphy.
Patsi Trollinger’s book, Perfect Timing: How Isaac Murphy Became One of the World’s Greatest Jockeys, is also included as part of the literacy project.
