At tonight’s 5/3 tennis tournament, attendees were asked to observe a moment of silence in memory of Sam Barnes, president of 5/3’s central Kentucky operations for nearly two decades.

Barnes died earlier today in St. Simons Island, Georgia, where he’d traveled with family for the upcoming weekend wedding of his son.
