Sunday Salons in September, Moveable Feast Lexington
September 11, 2016 @ 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Every Sunday in September, Moveable Feast Lexington will sponsor a gathering at a different historic, architecturally significant Lexington home with a special host to celebrate art, music, and literature. These events are being called September Sunday Salons. Each event will be uniquely styled by the individual hosts. Each Sunday program will serve up food, drink, and plenty of interaction with the arts and fine art collections.
On Sunday, September 11th, Arthur Shechet and Marilyn Robie will open their 1979 naturalistic home for the first Sunday Salon. On view will be rare portfolio lithographs by international artist Kiki Smith and a series of deaths head paintings by Lexington artist Patrick Smith. Musical entertainment will be provided by Warren Byrom, in addition to a reading presented by Silas House.
Call Moveable Feast Lexington at 859.252-2867 for ticket info, prices, and reservations. Attendance will be strictly kept at small numbers to ensure a unique experience, and space is limited. All salons will be from 2:30 pm till 5:30 pm.
