The Bluegrass 10,000 uses the ChronoTrack timing system to score the race. ChronoTrack utilizes an RFID disposable tag (chip). The disposable timing tag comes attached to the bib. Before the race, runners must attach the tag to their shoes as per the instructions. The tag is not collected after the runner finishes.
Strollers, in-line skaters, roller skaters, skate boarders, bicycles, or pets are NOT allowed in the 10K race.
The Fun Run is a one mile walk/run that will start on the corner of East Short St. and Deweese. Participation awards will be given at the finish, and entertainment for adults and kids will be provided at the Old Courthouse Plaza in downtown Lexington after the races.
